An opportunity is available for a highly motivated, self-driven Customer Support Manager who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships. Based in Hamilton, this key management position forms an integral part of this iconic New Zealand Business, New Zealand Trucks.
About your new company:
New Zealand Trucks are the distributors for Bucher, as well as Waikato Service Agents for UD Nissan Diesel and International Navistar along with other franchises in the pipeline to be announced. We have also relocated to a brand-new world class purpose-built facility in Te Rapa in October and are investing heavily in growth and expansion in Hamilton. NZ Trucks along with our sister company AB Equipment currently operate 24 Branches across the country. With strong plans and development over the next 18 months, we're looking for a Customer Support Manager to support us during this exciting time.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum of 3 years managing a team
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction / materials handling / transport / heavy machinery industry an advantage
- Ability to influence and motivate others to achieve the business vision
- Strong negotiation and relationship skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Resilience and determination
- Organisational and delegation skills
Your responsibilities will be:
- Creating a branch culture focused towards superior customer relations
- Building an inclusive and engaged team recognising performance and achievement
- Ensuring security and maintenance of company property including facilities, stock and assets
- Ensuring superior Health and Safety standards through active team participation
- Increasing service, rentals, parts and equipment sales
- Build and maintain long term relationships
- Financial acumen deliver the bottom line
